Welcome Kristina Reynolds as the new Director!

The Library Board of Trustees are pleased to announce Kristina Reynolds as the new Director of the Charlotte Community Library! She will join us beginning May 1st.

Wednesday, April 24th at 6:30pm

The CharLit adult book club meets on the 4th Wednesday of the month. The book we will be discussing in April is The Power of Trees by Peter Wohlleben. Suggested reading to partner with this month’s selection is 
Hidden Life of Trees, also by Peter Wohlleben.

Saturday, April 20th at 2:00pm

The Friends of the Charlotte Community Library’s annual speaker presentation is on Saturday, April 20th at 2:00pm. Michael Delaware, author, will be sharing stories from his book Victorian Southwest Michigan True Crime. This is a no-charge event and refreshments will be served.

Parkour for Littles at AL!VE begins Friday, April 12th at 10:00am

A basic introduction to parkour as imagined through stories. You and your little one will learn together how to safely maneuver everyday obstacles using the whole body. Build strength, balance, focus, confidence, and problem-solving skills after listening to related stories. For children 3 to 6.

AJ shared that she likes having a safe place to bring her children while she reads. Natalie and Sabrina enjoy our summer programming, Global Play Day, It’s Elementary and the Craft Clubs. The girls also appreciate having access to library materials by using their Charlotte Public Schools library cards.
